I had one of those weeks. You know, the kind where you lose your monthly subway pass, where you get stuck in the rain without an umbrella, where your boss doesn't like any of your work, where you work until past 8pm every night, where you get two migraines, where your chiropractor sees how stressed you are and makes you take a five minute nap on the table to de-stress after your adjustment, where you can't hold in the tears and let them start flowing on the subway on your way home, where you have 4 advil, chips and salsa and a beer for dinner. (Not kidding about any of that.)
Needless to say that the extent of my cooking this week involved heating up leftovers in the microwave.
Before I entered this no-good, rotten, terrible week, I finished one of my knitting projects. I started this at the end of August on a plane flying from Denver to Seattle. It seems like that was years ago. This pattern is super easy--one of those ones that looks nice without having to remember complicated stitch patterns. I love the grey-ish / purple color of the cotton yarn. And I finished it just in time to wear on blustery fall days.
